Day out in Manchester

So last weekend my boyfriend and I decided to go on a mini road trip.  He's never been to Manchester so we decided to go there for the day and explore/shop. We had such a great time and can't wait to go back soon!

This gorgeous artwork is by a Manchester based artiste named Philippe.  I would have LOVED to purchase this one but with a £1200 price tag for two, I'll have to save for a little while :)

My Kids meal!

Excited for his first ever Wagamama's!

Randomness with chopsticks :P

This shop used a few of their employees as live models!

The Hilton Hotel- My boyfriend is a Civil and Structural engineer and was taking as many pictures of the buildings as he could!

Inside the Hilton

And I obviously HAD to buy a few things! Namely Amber Lights, Freshwater, a new Studio Fix powder and the 212 brush

This brush is AMAZING! I was looking for a precise brush for waterline/under eye work and decided on this one.  I've been using it more for my gel eyeliner and its a dream to work with.

I needed new toner and NiaSays recommended this one from boots- at £3 its a bargain! I also paid a visit to the Chanel counter and tried out their new foundation, Perfection Lumiere- my shade is Ambr 114.  I really like it and took a sample away with me to try at home

Have any of you been to Manchester? Or live there? What's your best place/shop to visit?

4 Girls and a Make-up counter

It was my friends birthday a few days ago and we decided to take her to MAC in Leeds to get her make-up done.  It was her first time and I was soo excited to take her! My other friends and I may have also decided to get cheeky makeovers of our own ;)

My stunning and wonderfully kind make-up artiste, Sarah :)

Model material

Close up of the finished look

Posers hehe!

I love my friends <3

I was also tempted into picking up a few things, namely
1. Ruby Woo 'retro matt red' lipstick
2. Deep Truth 'frost' eye shadow
3. Cranberry 'frost' eye shadow
4. Sketch 'velvet' eye shadow

My MAC pallet.  Slowly filling it up with gorgeous colours :)

Highlight of the day: Being mistaken for a MAC make-up artiste, while applying make-up to my friend, by a woman who actually works at MAC!!

Hope you're all having an amazing week!
